Bouthaina Dinar is a Former Combatant in Sudanese People's Liberation Movement and Army (SPLM/A) - (2003-2020). She was a regional minister in South Kurdufan state (2008-2011).
Between 2014 and 2022, she was a member of  Sudanses People's Liberation Movement negotiation team. Bouthaina served as team leader of the SPLM in the implementation mission of Humanitarian Access and Security Arrangement of the Juba Peace Agreement in 2020.
She is the Former Minister of Federal Governance of Sudan in the Transitional period (2020-2020).
Bouthaina holds the position as Deputy Chairperson of Sudan People's Liberation Movement - Revolutionary Democratic Current (SPLM/RDC sind 2022 until today. She is further a member of the Civil Democratic Alliance of Revolutionary Forces (Somud)  and the Deputy Secretary-General of the Alliance (Somud) and a Member of Sudanese Women Network (SWN).
