Honourable Safi ya Alkali Ajikolo is the Chairperson of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee at the Borno State Children’s Parliament in Nigeria, where she represents Jere State Constituency. A spoken word artist, she uses creative expression as a tool for advocacy. Safi ya is the pioneer anchor of UNICEF’s fi rst child-led radio program in northeast Nigeria and serves as an ambassador for GoalPrime Organization Nigeria. Passionate about amplifying the voices of young people, especially adolescent girls, she works to advance children’s rights, education, and social change through both parliamentary leadership and artistic performance.
