Dr. Mohammed Al-Masri holds a PhD in Security Psychology from Ain Shams University. He served as the Director of Intelligence for the Gaza Strip and currently chairs the Palestinian Academic Council. As the President of the Palestinian Centre for Strategic Research and Studies, he has contributed extensively to the fields of security and political science.
Dr. Al-Masri has lectured at several prominent Palestinian universities, including Birzeit University, the American University of Palestine, Al-Quds University, and Al-Istiqlal University. He has supervised numerous master's theses and has published 11 books and multiple research papers on security and political issues.
In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Al-Masri has served as a consultant for the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance and advised institutional development programs for the Palestinian security sector in collaboration with the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development (DFID) and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) over a three-year period.
He is recognized as an expert in security and governance, having participated in various regional and international initiatives and conferences.
