Firas Bali is a passionate storytelling facilitator and humanitarian professional. He co-leads Waves to Home, a global storytelling movement that creates spaces for displaced and indigenous people to share their stories, reclaim their narratives, and inspire collective action. With more than 8 years of experience across the humanitarian–development–peace nexus, Firas has worked with leading international organizations, developing expertise in program design, capacity building, and global engagement. He recently joined the ICRC Headquarters, where he continues to merge creativity with humanitarian action. At the heart of his mission is the belief that storytelling is not only about words, but about transformation. Through stories, Firas seeks to drive meaningful change, building spaces where authentic connections flourish and bold actions emerge.
