Over 20 years experience in public sector nationally and internationally in the field of research, international development and policy. Have led the project, programme design and management related to biodiversity, forestry, land degradation and desertification in particular Sand and Dust Storms (SDS) global policy.

Currently, focusing on environmental diplomacy and the nexus between land, peace and security linking SDG 15 and SDG 16 through the Peace Forest Initiative. In addition, has taken the lead on Business for Land initiative (B4L) of the UNCCD promoting private sector engagement in land and ecosystem restoration.
