Olivia Bornyi is a Canadian master’s student at the Geneva Graduate Institute who is driven to amplify the voices of youth in peacebuilding. Currently interning for the PeaceTalks at Interpeace, Olivia puts to practice her experience in community engagement and partnership-building to shape positive narratives on peace in Geneva. Olivia is committed to fostering present and future generations of peacebuilders through innovative opportunities for educating young people on activism, international systems, and building sustainable societies through cooperative diplomacy. These objectives alongside the Youth, Peace, and Security Agenda are at the cornerstone of her work, as Olivia facilitates panel discussions and builds partnerships in Geneva to demonstrate that youth are integral to preventing and participating in timely discussions on peace.
