She leads community-centered protection and advocacy initiatives rooted in unarmed civilian protection (UCP), with a focus on Women, Peace and Security (WPS) and gender-based violence prevention from 2015 to Date. Bakhita brings over ten years of experience bridging humanitarian response, social justice, and inclusive peacebuilding.
