He focuses on trauma healing and peacebuilding, leading trainings and community sessions that help people cope with the impacts of conflict and rebuild trust. Basheer also actively advocates for his community, working to ensure that the voices, needs, and concerns of civilians in Qayyarah are heard by authorities and included in decision-making. Through his efforts, he helps strengthen social cohesion and advance reconciliation and sustainable peace in South Mosul.
