In 2013, she Co-founded the newspaper Al-Hadath and serves as its Editor-in-Chief. The publication has since become a crucial platform for independent and investigative journalism, exposing politically sensitive issues and advancing the Palestinian national liberation struggle. Through its comprehensive coverage, Al-Hadath actively advocates for the rights of the Palestinian people to freedom and self-determination. In 2023, she inaugurated Tadween, a cultural platform dedicated to documenting and covering cultural work in Palestine.
She is also an academic with a deep interest in the intersection of media and memory. She is currently a PhD student in Social Sciences at Birzeit University, where her doctoral thesis is titled: "Straight Memory: Mnemonic Practices of the Nakba in the Palestinian Media (1994-2024)." She holds a Master's degree in International Studies (2006) from the same university. Her research interests are focused on memory studies, media sociology, communication, and media policies, and how they shape nationalism and memory.
As a poet, she has published three collections of poems.
