JULIEN N. OUSSOU is the Regional Coordinator – Network Development at the regional office of the West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP), based in Accra, Ghana. Previously, he served as the National Network Coordinator of WANEP in Benin from 2009 to 2018.
Julien has been a peacebuilding practitioner for 17 years, with proven expertise in dialogue, mediation, electoral processes in West Africa, human security, human rights, governance, early warning, and conflict prevention and management. He has led and coordinated numerous advocacy initiatives, missions, research projects, programs, and trainings across several West African countries.
He holds a Master’s degree in Geography and several diplomas in Conflict, Peace, and Security.
