Terezia Rostas is a Roma human rights advocate, educator, and cultural producer from the Gabor Roma community. She is the founder of Welcoming Cultures UK and Care for Young People’s Future CIC, through which she has trained hundreds of young cultural champions and professionals in human rights, anti-racism, and inclusive education. Terezia has over a decade of experience working with racially minoritised families in care, education, and justice systems across the UK. She has spoken at the UN, OSCE, Council of Europe, CSW69, and the UNECE Regional Forum on Sustainable Development, focusing on Roma women’s rights, intersectionality, and systemic inequalities. Currently a Labour councillor candidate in Sheffield, Terezia continues to bridge grassroots action with national and international policy advocacy.
