Viviana E. Mojica Aurelio is a Programme Specialist at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), where she leads the Recovery and Resilience team within the Division for Peace. She brings 15 years of experience in designing and managing capacity-building initiatives for international organizations, non-profits, and the private sector. For a decade at UNITAR, Viviana has developed and implemented impactful training projects focused on community-led peacebuilding, Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration (DDR), stabilization, arms control, reconciliation, social inclusion, early warning, and human rights. Her work spans a wide range of geographic contexts, as well as regional and global initiatives.
She is also an experienced facilitator and instructional designer, with particular expertise in creating interactive, blended learning experiences. Viviana holds an academic background in International Relations and Human Rights, and is deeply committed to advancing inclusive and sustainable peace
