The Closing ceremony of Geneva Peace Week 2024 features a powerful conversation between two extraordinary women, Juanita Millán Hernández and Victoria Sandino Simanca Herrera, who played pivotal roles in the Colombian peace negotiations (2010-2016). As women negotiators in a male-dominated process, they will share their personal journeys, the obstacles they faced, and their ongoing work to promote peace in Colombia and beyond.

Book presentation
The ceremony will feature remarks from a representative of the Swiss government (tbc) and a special reading from the collection "Letters to a Young Mediator." Attendees of the GPW Closing ceremony will receive the publication, which will also be launched and offered during a UN Security Council session under the Swiss presidency in October.
