Young people are a transformative force in peace and security.
Young people are living through conflict, climate collapse, violent repression, displacement, economic precarity, and digital surveillance. But they are not defined by crisis—they are responding with boldness, care, and creativity. Across the globe, young people are reimagining peace and security on their own terms. They are organising, healing, resisting, and building—offering visions for justice that are intersectional, community-rooted, and future-focused. Their leadership is not emerging despite these conditions—it is forged within them.
This session is a radical invitation to follow youth leadership. Part collaboration, part call-in, part protest—this gathering is designed and led by youth networks and frontline peacebuilders. Together, we will amplify lived realities, surface new ideas, and build solidarity across generations, movements, and institutions.
Expect immersive storytelling and hands-on problem-solving. Through short video portraits and small group work, participants will engage directly with bold visions for peace and shape practical actions to carry forward in their own organisations.
You’ll leave with co-created commitments: what to transform, how to shift power, and where to begin. This isn’t a session for spectators. It’s a space for those ready to act—moved by purpose, grounded in humility, and committed to peace shaped by young people’s leadership.
