Flavia Sophia Schwitter is the Deputy Director of Mastering Mediation, a student initiative
dedicated to promoting the understanding and practice of peace mediation among young
professionals, and a Master’s student in International and Development Studies at the Geneva
Graduate Institute. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of
Zurich. Professionally, she has gained experience in geopolitical and strategic advisory work,
diplomacy, international cooperation, as well as Swiss and international security policy,
building on roles at a consulting firm, the Mission of Switzerland to NATO, and the Center for
Security Studies at ETH Zurich.
