Step into a World of Transformation at "The Art of Equality: A Journey to Justice" Expo!

In celebration of its 60th anniversary, the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD)  has invited artists from around the world to create a unique and immersive experience that transcends borders and time. As you step inside you will embark on a journey guided by art and six decades of UNRISD's pioneering research for social change. Begin by discovering the roots of our mission in "Where We Come From," revisiting the events that have shaped the past 60 years of our work and human history. Then, voyage through "Where We Are," where artists reflect on gender, climate, economic, and social justice. Finally, journey through time in "Where We Are Going," where you will be projected into a visionary eco-social world founded on principles of equality and justice for both people and the planet. During this remarkable journey, you will encounter 39 artists representing 22 countries from six regions. They urge us all to envision the change we seek—a powerful reminder that if we desire a more just world, we must first imagine it. These words echo in every art piece, unlocking the transformative potential within our collective imagination. Join us and let us #imagineequality together!
